I've mentioned that I don't watch TV and it's true, but I don't sit and stare at my walls, either. I read a lot, watch (ok, binge) Netflix, and get information and entertainment in various formats.
Are you a fan of TED? I downloaded the app on my phone and can listen to/watch a TED talk in the morning while I'm doing my makeup. I've learned some interesting things about stuff I would never have learned about this way.
